Beirut

Marco enjoying the children's pool with goggles and swim ring
 Snack at the pool
City / harbour view from the hotel
Hotel view from the pool and lots of construction in the background
Our terrace, Laura and Marco reading
 Olympic pool and hotel beach

All new and glitzy Zaitunay Bay, where we had steaks... very much Dubai style!
View of Beirut from the coastal road
Path up to the Crusaders' Castle with a view of the mosque in Biblis

Al Amin Mosque in Beirut at sunset
Ruins of roman baths in downtown Beirut
Place de l'Etoile was closed because Parliament was in session
Philippa from Carlos's company's office in Beirut with Laura on Al Maraad Street (downtown), which was reconstructed very recently
 Back at the hotel pool

A "typical" Beirut building... unfortunately most old buildings are very run down
 In Rawat's enourmous car
With Philippa and Rawat at the entrance to the Jeita caves
A little "train" on wheels took us up to the grotto entrance

Jeita Grotto (official photo, cameras are not allowed inside)
Lots of traffic on the roads
 haha...
In Biblis at the historic harbour
 Biblis Crusaders' Castle
Another Lebanese restaurant with very tasty and too much food

 Ruins at Biblis

Lunch at a fish restaurant with great sea view
 Back at the hotel

On our last night we ordered room service. Laura couldn't wait and climed on the table!
